Design of Drinking Water, Stormwater and Wastewater Infrastructure Systems and 3D Modeling Service

Within the scope of the Ammonia Production Facility built in Mazıdağı district of Mardin Province, Dotasal Proje Mühendislik has provided a comprehensive engineering service, including application projects of drinking water, stormwater and wastewater sewage systems for all field infrastructure, detailed engineering designs for these systems and three-dimensional infrastructure modeling studies.

This project required special engineering solutions both because it is an industrial production facility and because it requires hazardous and intensive process water management; the Point Project completed all the works in technical accuracy and coordination in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Scope and Purpose of the Project

In order for the production process of the Mazıdağı Ammonia Plant to be operated safely and sustainably:

Infrastructure Systems and Technical Solutions

1. Drinking Water Network

A closed system drinking water network has been designed to provide continuous and hygienic water supply to the facility Jul.

• Diameter and material selections were made in accordance with the process requirements; main lines, building connection arms and valve chambers were designed in detail.< / li>
• The drinking water system is positioned on a 3D model and conflict control is provided with existing plant infrastructures.< / li>

2. Stormwater Drainage System

A drainage network has been planned on the basis of a discrete system for the removal of precipitation water from the roofs of the facility and the field surface.

• Reinforced concrete manhole structures, grids, gutter connections, collector lines and final discharge points are designed.< / li>
• The network geometry has been holistically modeled with a three-dimensional infrastructure model and harmonized with the ground slope.< / li>

3. Wastewater Sewage System

Simple inclined gravity lines and promotion structures at the required points have been planned for the separation and safe transfer of wastewater from production, laboratory and administrative facilities to the outside of the facility.

• Process wastewater and domestic wastewater are collected by different lines and separated in accordance with environmental legislation.< / li>
• Line layouts, chimneys, sections and elevation analyses were transferred to the project with detailed engineering drawings.< / li>

3D Modeling and Coordination

The three-dimensional infrastructure model created by Dotasal Proje Mühendislik has been prepared to serve as the basis for both pre-field inspection and post-application maintenance operations:

• All lines, chimneys, fasteners and special structures are modeled in three dimensions,
• Conflict analyses were performed with other architectural, mechanical and electrical systems,
• Excavation-filling analysis, horizontal and vertical layout patterns are detailed.< / li>

Detailed Designs and Technical Documents

All engineering outputs belonging to the project have been fully prepared and delivered by the Dotasal Project:

• Plan-profile sheets
• Line lengths, diameter and slope tables
• Type sections for manholes, chimneys, manholes, hatvanas and special structures
• Material lists and metric tables
• Technical specifications
• 3D coordination files and explanatory model data
