Adiyaman Sincik - Kürük Transmission Line Revised Project

Noktasal Proje Mühendislik has successfully completed a comprehensive engineering project in which drinking water supply systems have been re-examined in terms of hydraulic, structural and operational efficiency within the scope of the Revised Project Jul Kürük Transmission Line Construction carried out within the borders of Sincik District of Adıyaman Province. The project covers the design of the transmission line between 15 + 919.63 and 34 +712.00 km, with a total length of 18.792,37 meters, and the system integration of the necessary art Deconstructions.

Project Objective

With this revision study; it is aimed to meet the drinking water needs of the settlements in the region in a continuous, healthy and safe way in accordance with modern engineering principles. Taking into account all the tables, pipe types and diameters, pipe wall thicknesses and hydraulic elements on the project route, a new design approach has been adopted that ensures the integrity of the system and facilitates operability.

Line Structure and Pipe Characteristics

All transmission line pipes used in the project were selected with a diameter of D=250 mm, pipes of PE100 PN16, PE100 PN10 and CB ST44 types were preferred according to the route and hydraulic conditions. Pipe wall thicknesses vary from e=5 mm to e=22.7 mm. Pipe lengths determined according to steel-pipe types in different sections and up to a total of 34+712.00 km points are distributed along the line as follows:

  • PE100 PN16 pipe: 240 m
  • PE100 PN10 pipe: 170 m
  • CB ST44 pipes: They are laid in 18 different segments with a total length of 18.382 m.< / li>

The pipe ends are specified in detail in the project along with the end kilometers of each segment and are in full compliance with the application drawings.

Transmission Line Route and Tables

Connection to Kaptaj → Maslak 1 → Maslak 2 → Maslak 3 → Maslak 4 → Maslak 5 → Branch → DY1 / DM1 Warehouses has been provided along the line route respectively. The outstanding technical characteristics along the route are as follows:

  • Between Kap Deckhouse and Maslak 1: 1211.77 m
  • From Mas Dec 1 to Mas Dec 2: 10.480,09 m
  • From Mas Dec 2 to Mas Dec 3: 1158.65 m
  • From Mas Dec 3 to Mas Dec 4: 677,49 m
  • From Mas Dec 4 to Mas Dec 5: 2391,63 m
  • Maslak Dec.5 - Inter-branch: 18.276,58 m
  • Branch - DY1 / DM1: total 1003.86 m

The internal volumes of all maslak structures are between 1.00 – 2.00 m3, and the entrance pipe elevations, crepe elevations and floor elevations are Decked in accordance with engineering norms. These structures are arranged for flow Decoupling and maintenance-intervention purposes at the intermediate water transmission points.

Art Structures

In the revised project, the integration of the necessary hydromechanical structures along the line has been achieved. In this context;

  • Between Maslak 1 and Maslak 2: 4 suction cups, 5 Decouples and 1 air vent
  • Between Maslak 2 and Maslak 3: 1 suction cup, 1 Decoupage
  • Between table 4 and Table 5: 2 Decontamination, 1 suction cup
  • Between Maslak 5 - Branch: 22 suction cups, 20 Deceleration, 4 line valves
  • Between branch and DM1: 1 maneuvering room
  • Dec
  • Between branch and DY1: 1 pressure breaker valve, 1 Deceleration structure
a total of 59 hydromechanical structures in the form of

have been designed for the operational safety of the system and detailed to be implemented on site.

Principles of Hydraulic and Structural Design

The line profile was prepared at 1/500 – 1/1000 scales according to the changing slope and topographic conditions along the route; the pipe diameter was kept constant, but the material type and wall thickness were optimized. The locations of all art buildings have been determined according to the criteria of ventilation requirement, emptying and ease of maintenance.

Result

Dotasal Proje Mühendislik has put forward a solution based on the principles of technical, environmental and social sustainability in the drinking water infrastructure of the region with the Revised Project Construction Work of Adıyaman Sincik – Kürük Transmission Line. The project ensured both the strengthening of the existing structure and the implementation of a modern water transmission system.

This study has once again demonstrated the expertise of Dotasal Proje Mühendislik in the field of drinking water transmission lines and site-specific engineering solutions.
